This is a continuation of the movie Hotel Transylvania 1 who was released in 2012. I think this movie was introduced a variety of characters in detail on the first part. However, as my new watch on part to two its course do not find it difficult to understand the various characters in the film.
In this movie, Jonathan and Mavis finally officially married and have a child. The anxiety it came down on Dracula, where he hopes if his grandson is a vampire. While Mavis, really want to that of their offspring is a human being real and want to get out of the Hotel Transylvania.
To prevent this happening, then Drac to try different kinds of ways to immediately raises the characteristics of a vampire on the little boy that way by Drac this then makes the movie Hotel Transylvania is filled with scenes of funny and surprising.
Likewise, many of Dracula’s monster friends, including Kevin James’s Frank, Steve Buscemi’s Wayne, David Spade’s Griffin, and Keegan-Michael Key’s Murray (who replaced CeeLo Green from the first movie) are, more or less, framing the feature with smaller roles, but with some better dialogue lines, and recurring gags. Additionally, just like the first Hotel Transylvania, Drac’s friends continue to give a counter-balance perspective on certain things, giving each of the monsters one or two moments in the spotlight. The most surprising is the semi-addition to the group is the character of Blobby. He was featured in the first movie, but has been upgraded to be more in this movie. Blobby may not be the most vocal one in the group of monsters, but you simply just can’t help but laugh whenever he’s on-screen.
This movie has some positive messages about family, friendship and diversity, as well as some good laughs, like when Drac and his pals attempt to show Dennis the monster world.
I love how the movie works in modern gadgets like a monster-sounding GPS voice and smartphones (and the fact that the older generation doesn’t always know how to use such devices).
Sandler, who co-wrote the script, also includes an ongoing bit about modern-day parents’ helicopter parenting style. Much of that takes place when Drac and pals take Dennis to his old vampire camp, where the counselors coddle the young vampires.
Personally, I liked it and enjoyed watching the film (recommending it to younger viewers and to those who just simply like cartoon escapism), but it wasn’t as good as the first Hotel Transylvania. All in all, Hotel Transylvania 2 was a nice continuation to the original film. I just wished it could’ve been a little bit better.
Favorite Scene 1
One scene best in this film is at a time when Dracula still wake Dennis and start teaching he flew as a bat, Dennis, pointed out like chicken. Dennis a naive and adorable, stylish as breakdance and he still follow breakdance and they weren't aware of the two of them dancing together. In the scene is in addition to causing a cheerful laughter, also give you a surprise story line and color with dance, performed by the vampire.
Favorite scene 2
Scene of the best next thing is when Dennis shows teeth of the fangs on her birthday. This is the answer to all the questions to the conflict light this movie. Canine Dennis came as his friend was attacked by men's Dracula who was angry because there were humans in a birthday party Dennis. In the scene of the Dennis also show its natural awesome power against bats the bad to attack his family and friends.
